TASTING NOTES
FOR Reigate Coffee

Here are our experiences with the different coffees we stock. These are personal opinions from the people behind Reigate Coffee, and every coffee has a different experience for everyone who tries it. Try them yourself and see if you agree!

Brazil Peaberry

Brazilian coffee has a wicked chocolate taste, and feels so smooth to drink. This could be the best I’ve tasted. – Geoff

Brazil Santos

Had this a while back when hosting and made a cup for everyone. They all loved it! Great quality and flavour. – Matt

Columbia Excelso

Really bright and fruity, caught me off guard the first time I tried it. This is a feel-good coffee if ever there was one. – Geoff

Columbia Sugar Cane Decaffeinated

Always love the chocolatey taste of Colombian coffee, but can’t have too many cups a day without feeling the caffeine. This is great to have around so I can keep having a coffee to hand without worrying about how much. – Matt

Costa Rica SHB

Got my hands on this Costa Rica SHB coffee—super smooth and nutty. Tastes like a Sunday morning in a mug, classy yet chill. Enjoy a daily dose of good vibes with this one. – James

Ethiopia Djimmah

Rich and fruity, with an aftertaste of spiced wine that always leaves me wanting more. You can really taste why this coffee is such a  regular feature in coffee shops worldwide. – Matt

Guatemala Huehuetenango

This is one of my favourite coffees to make when hosting people. It’s light enough that you don’t need to be a full-blown coffee fanatic to enjoy it, and who doesn’t like chocolate flavours! Always have a bag of it in just in case. – Geoff

House Blend

This is a pretty strong one, packs a punch. Which is often exactly what I’m looking for, particularly in the mornings! – Matt

Indonesia Sumatra Mandheling

This is a fruity coffee, but what sets it apart from other fruity counterparts (such as many of the coffee options from East Africa) is the spicy undertone that goes alongside it. A really unique coffee, and well worth a try. – Geoff

Italian Blend

If you’re in need of a strong pick me up, this is your one. One for the caffeine-heads out there. – James

Jamaica Blue Mountain

First tried this in Jamaica, and it blew my mind. Never had coffee like it before. Made sure to tell everyone I knew who was into coffee about it when I got back, it was that good! If you’re looking for the finest coffee around, this is it. – James

Jamaica Blue Mountain Blend

This is a blend that really captures the excellence of the Jamiaca Blue Mountain coffee, but can be enjoyed without breaking the bank! A bit less kick than the original, but an added smoothness, this gives you all the best bits without breaking the bank! – Geoff

Kenya Peaberry

Tried the Kenya Peaberry recently—bright and sweet in a way that really sets it apart. A great way to start the day in a sunny mood! – Matt

Mexico SHG

Had this Mexico SHG coffee recently—sweet and rich, just the way I like it. Makes my mornings a whole lot better. – Matt

New World Blend

I’m a huge fan of chocolate, and if you’re the same then this one might be the coffee for you! Wonderful mix of flavours alongside. – Matt

Royal Blend

Possibly my favourite of them all. This is such a great mix, really elevates the flavours in combination with one another. – Geoff

Swiss Water Decaffeinated

A great option if you’re wanting to avoid the caffeine hit. The taste is just as good as any other coffee. Highly recommend. – James

Tanzania Robusta

Tanzania Robusta has become my go-to for that all important caffeine boost. It strikes the right balance, keeping things lively without being overpowering, it’s the perfect way to start the day or get through a long afternoon. – Geoff

Uganda Drugar

It’s got this lively fruitiness with a bit of a kick that really stands out. A great option if you’re looking for something with a bit of character without going overboard. – James

Vietnam Wet Polished

Tried the Vietnamese Wet Polish Robusta coffee – reminded me of roasted almonds and dark chocolate. Goes surprisingly well with a piece of bitter dark chocolate. Give it a shot; it’s a solid combo in the afternoon. – Matt
